Christmas Shopping

Christmas is coming - way too quick! So today we went off up to London for a bit of Christmas shopping. We went first to Hyde Park where Winter Wonderland was in the park there. Loads of German Christmas market Chalets with lovely things to buy in, and food everywhere! We ate a German Bratwurst Sausage and had a lovely cup of warm Gluhwien. We also took a trip up in the 95.8fm Capital Wheel - wasn't too keen when we got up the top - it shook a bit and was so windy, but the sights were good.
After that we walked to Harrods which was great to see how the other half live! A whole department full of outfits for dogs amused me most! Just ridiculous.
Onto Hamleys next - toys galore which Neil loved! Then we walked down to the new Marmite shop on Regent Street which was great.
Leg and foot ache was horrendous after about 9 hours solid walking - so we headed for Chiquitos in Leicester Square. The food there was lovely. After that we had recharged just enough to walk up to Covent Garden for a quick look round before heading home - feet are blistered but we had a great day.
